How to Download and Install InstaPro APK (13.10)

Before you start: InstaPro is an unofficial Instagram mod. It is not on Google Play, it is closed source, and using it can get your Instagram account restricted or banned. If you have not done so yet, read our honest risk assessment first — ideally test with a secondary account, not your main one.

Step 1 — Download the APK

If your browser warns that "this type of file can harm your device", that is Android's standard message for every APK downloaded outside Google Play. It does not prove the file is safe or unsafe — which is exactly why the verification step below matters.

Step 2 — Verify the file before installing (strongly recommended)

This site does not publish an APK hash. The download goes through an external gateway and the developer does not publish official checksums, so any hash printed on a download page would be circular — you would be trusting the same page that gave you the file. Do the check yourself instead:

Option A: scan with VirusTotal

Go to virustotal.com in any browser.
Upload the downloaded APK file (from your Downloads folder).
Review the results. A handful of generic "riskware" flags is common for modded apps because they are unofficial by nature; a large number of trojan detections is a clear signal to delete the file.

Option B: compare checksums across sources

On a computer, run sha256sum InstaPro.apk (Linux/Mac) or certutil -hashfile InstaPro.apk SHA256 (Windows) to get the file's fingerprint.
Compare it with the hash of the same version obtained from a different, independent source — for example a file announced on the developer's official Telegram channel (t.me/SamMods).
If two independent copies of "the same version" have different hashes, at least one of them has been modified. Do not install either.

Step 3 — Allow installs from your browser

Android blocks APK installs from unknown sources by default. To allow it for this one install:

Open Settings › Apps › Special app access › Install unknown apps (wording varies slightly by brand — on some phones it is under Settings › Security).
Select the browser you used for the download (for example Chrome).
Toggle Allow from this source on.
Tip: turn the toggle back off after installing. Leaving it on permanently makes drive-by APK installs easier.

Step 4 — Install and first launch

Open the downloaded APK from your notification shade or the Files app.
Tap Install and wait for it to finish. If Play Protect asks whether to scan the app, let it.
Open InstaPro and log in. Recommendation: log in with a secondary Instagram account first and run it for a couple of weeks before you even consider using a main account — third-party clients carry a real ban risk.

Common install problems

Problem	Likely cause and fix
"App not installed"	An older InstaPro with a different signature is present, or the download is corrupted. Uninstall the old copy, re-download, and try again.
Install button greyed out	Another app is drawing over the screen. Close screen filters/overlay apps and retry.
"Blocked by Play Protect"	Expected for unofficial clients. You can proceed anyway, but treat it as a reminder that Google has not vetted this app.
Login fails right after install	Often a stale build. Check that you installed 13.10, the latest verified version — see the update guide.

What to avoid

Sites offering "InstaPro 15" or other versions that the developer never announced — as of August 2026 these are unverified third-party claims. Details on the homepage.
Downloads that arrive as a "downloader app" or installer instead of a plain APK.
Any page that requires a survey, SMS confirmation or payment. InstaPro has always been distributed free.
